I think it's absolutely terrible that a game hits store shelves, yet it clearly doesn't function correctly. Bethesda are PC developers at heart. A developer who is always looking to patch their games after release to fix the things that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
I feel terribly sorry for people who aren't connected to XBOX LIVE. With all the games that I've experienced over the XBOX 360's life span, Bethesda will undoubtedly go down as the developer infamous for having the worst track record with regards to games that function properly. In fact, I have had more problems with any 'ONE' of their games than I've had with the whole 360's library combined. It really is poor form.
Bethesda make some fantastic games, they really do. Believe it or not I'm a great fan. The atmosphere of Skyrim is brilliant, the game is brilliant. It's just a shame they can't lose this terrible ability for producing games that need patching from day one... and beyond.
