I kind of agree with him, since we're ultimately supporting these companies through our hard-earned money (and that's while the global economy is in a recession), the buck should stop with us, right? It's a simple premise. If a company continually doesn't deliver on its promises and we continue to support its products, knowing full that there's a history of neglect, then who's really to blame? The company or the guy entitling the company? However, it's not a flawless argument either, because ultimately not all of us would have been aware of the Fallout 3 bugs, or the fact that FNLV had the same safe file issue. I think in this regard Bethesda has overplayed its hand, while a minority of PS3 gamers would have bought Fallout 3, or even NLV, the gates are being flooded with gamers who want to play Skyrim. By not, fixing their game, and given that Gamebryo and even Creation Engine (which as it turns out now is merely a modified version of Gamebryo and not a new engine), Bethesda has committed the cardinal sin of developers.... i.e. released a VERY broken game to the masses, and with the full knowledge that it is practically unplayable.
With a global trend of increased consumer and societal unrest (as we've seen with the Occupy movement in the States and abroad), Bethesda is standing on shaky ground. If they don't know it already, the peasants are arming themselves. They better fix this game, and improve their communication with PS3 gamers.
