Any way to have multiple followers?

Hey All,

Is there anyway to have multiple followers? Or do we have to wait for the mod kit?

i had multiple followers doing the barrow in ivan-somethingoranother after becoming a thane in the first big town (you get a companion).

um I'm sorry that didn't make any sense. it says your limited to one follower at a time, i wanted multiple, can u or not?

Well there was global variable previously thats affect how much followers you can have in one time , perhaps this time we also have such feature in such cases it moddable for sure.

The variables used in Fallout 3 and in New Vegas were in a Followers quest, not globals.
One for humanoid, one for critters/bots.
They were used as conditional checks and set via scripts in dialog. quest, or acvitor, to name a few.

Oblivion had dodgy handling of this as it was still in infancy when Oblivion was made.

so if i put "INumberActorsAllowedToFollowPlayer 6" I should be able to have 6 followers?

Perhaps if there still such Oblivion variable available, Michele from above say thats Fallout use more advanced method then Oblivion have, possible Skyrim have it also.

I'm going to assume fallout has the same as skyrim, so does anybody know that command?

There is a global variable called playerfollowercount but if you set it to 0 and recruit someone new the old follower will just walk off.

Damn shame , i was hoping there would be some kind of exploit like in Fallout 3 with Dogmeat or at least a console command, but from the looks of it we're going to have to wait for the Creation Kit

I don't know much about this but I would think it is possible as I just completed a quest yesterday that involved two followers.

Well sometimes you get temporary followers just for that quest usually you gotta take them somewhere and then leave your party.
