Nocturnal!?

You speak the truth but I do not like GOLDEN ROBOTS ON WHEELS!!1! in my Medieval-esque games.

Why not? We have a giant mushroom alien world that could be compared to something written by H.P Lovecraft(Morrowind), Romans, Cat People, Gun Powder(Redguards). Why not (awesome)golden steam rock 'em sock 'em robots?

Yeah, Argonians and Khajiit totally dominated Europe from the 5th to 15th centuries.

Not to mention Sload, Imga, Ka Po' Tun, Kamal, Tang Mo, and Tsaesci.

You see castles, dungeons, towns, villages, dragons, swords, bows, etc etc and don't feel that it is Medieval-esque or modeled after it?
i see where you are coming from, but since i was child ive been exposed to the beauty that is the elder scrolls universe, and its so much more then medieval, i see so so much more then the castles in skyrim and dragons are new to the elder scrolls games anyways, just because it's in skyrim doesnt mean the lore should change, apprecaite the series then the game and you will have a much better overall respect and time with the game IMO :obliviongate:

You have SO much to learn about TES.

Play Daggerfall and Morrowind. NOW. Read the lore. NOW.

I wish Bethesda would release Redguard (an action spin-off from 1998) as a free download. It also had Dwemer Centurions.

I will get used to it... Maybe it will be cool but at the moment it just feels out of place.

I know that I do. I should have played Morrowind more but I was immature and preferred shooters and that kind of stuff at the time.

A bit off topic, but I really do hope Bethesda makes an Steampunk Fantasy or an Urban Fantasy game. Clash of magic and technology and all that jazz. I know Funcom is kinda doing it with Secret World, but there hasn't been a good single player game recently that has done justice to the genre.

Back on topic, Nocturnal never actually manifested in Oblivion right? Mostly just delt with her lore, the statue/shrine, and the Thieves guild IIRC.

Apparently, she's not the only Daedra that will physically manifest.
Spoiler
I've heard talk of Sanguine and Sheogorath, at the very least.

Right; the only Daedric Prince's we actually physically saw was Mehrunes Dagon, and The Mad Prince himself.

They are not [censored] ROBOTS!!!!!!! They are Dwemer Steam Centurions! Think of it more as a Steam Punk machine powered by magick. If you played Morrowind you would no think the way you do about it, trust me...
