I can understand why PC users don't want the game to be released on console as it may mean the game would not reach its full potential as it is "held back/restricted" to meet with consoles.
But why not approach it as two separate games with the staff working on the PC TESO in no way being involved with or affiliated with the Console TESO?
That way the staff working on the PC TESO could concentrate solely on the PC and making it as good as possible for the PC with no limitations or having to take anything regarding consoles into consideration. The game would be designed specifically for the PC and would reach its full potential.
The staff working on the Console TESO would work solely on the Console TESO.
Is it not coming to Console for technical reasons? It's hard to see how it would not be possible with plenty of other games out there on console right now that let you run about and shoot lots of other players online.
I can't see any financial reasons for not bringing TESO to console. Surely it would sell plenty of copies and make a nice little profit?
If TESO for console is too complicated to have hundreds or thousands of players online on the same map at the same time, then how about making it so that a much smaller group of players (eg 2-6) can all meet up and go exploring online together? I would be happy with that.
