Some people are attention seeking drama queens, always with some "Oh, you'll never guess what's happened now" type of story to make everyone feel sorry for them. I tend to ignore them.

I had a freind like that in high school. He was always complaining about something and/or something negative was always happening to him.

But what pissed me off was that he wore it like a badge or something. Always giving me a guilt trip like I was lucky and had life handed to me. So one day, on his porch, when he was giving me [censored] I flicked a cigarrette at him and left. I gradually stopped talking to him.

Wow, apparently when someone is in a bad position in their life the correct response is not in fact to try and be understanding or at the least ignore their [censored], but to get pissed off that you feel bad that their life svcks and throw cigarettes at them.

A guy I was seeing was like this. It got to be too much after I took him to a family BBQ. If the sun went behind the clouds, he was too cold, if the sun came out, it was in his eyes and too hot. Before the food came - he was really hungry, his tummy hurt. After the food - he's eaten too much, it felt uncomfortable. I'd also taken him paintballing the day before, so interspersed were lots of complaints about being sore or just sighing and kind of moaning and rubbing his calves or back so that everyone knew he wasn't happy.
I had been warned before I started seeing him that I should never ask him how he is, because I'd never just get a "good ta, how are you?", but I thought they were exaggerating. They weren't.

Or try and one-up their problems, or dump them...Guess there's a reason why there are so many kissless people on this board.

Except, at my school, it just so happens to be a collection of homosixuals who like to gripe as a unit.

Not even kidding. They're legit all gay.

Ask her what good things happened with her today, that way if she still answers negatively, invest in earplugs.

There's something wrong with you to rant this over the board, sorry to tell you. So before you blame it on others, look at the mirror.

Looks like a joke topic, IMO? A topic complaining about a girl who complains? What's going on here?

What I find equally irritating is when you try to vent (I don't do it too often anyway) but someone just shuts you down like "man up! Stop being such a girl!" or some crap. Good listeners are rare.
