well the 22 hours thing is based off of google maps projections, so who know exactly how long it will be i guess.
I do know that it will be a bit over 700 miles, excluding the first 25 miles it will all be interstate so i should be able to go 65-70 miles an hour (maybe in some places which are straight and i think i can get away with it i might be going considerably faster) so maybe it will be closer to 12 hours.
I do not think sleep is going to be a big problem though, im used to staying up 2-3 days in a row, my biggest concern is that i will get really bad muscle cramps.
I am doing this drive alone though, and ive got to one shot it if possible. Although i will stop in a motel if i do get too tired.
Well then yeah, if you get to tired that's the thing to do or at a trucker gas station, because you'd be able to sleep in your car if need be.
For the muscle cramps, it's not a big deal to get off at a rest stop every 200-300 miles or so and stretch your legs out. That's what I had to do. Also at 70 miles an hour for 700 miles, that's 10 hours. So it's probably not going to take as long as you think. Just like I said, it's a lot easier to drive during the day so get most of your driving done then. Because at night, even if you're not tired it's not as easy.
But yeah, I don't ever want to do a drive that long again. Granted I didn't get as much sleep as I should have on the way there, but on the way back I did and I was still falling asleep.
