look i get what your saying, if the thalmor win, were gonna out of the butt and into the [censored]!!!!!

the saying is "out of the frying pan and into the fire" and the stormcloaks are better because they will actually do something, nothing can really be done at this point (the thalmor already have a plan, maybe they have even rallied their army, whatever happens, it would take a miracle to save mundas, but we all know how common those are in TES) but action, no matter how futile, is always better than inaction

Personally I would say there are two competent Jarls in Skyrim: Balgruuf and Vignar, both in control over Whiterun and of them I think Balgruuf is the better one. How competent Ulfric is can be argued, so I won't include him here.

No, but spamming threads make the Moderators angry, which can be bad for you.

I personally want Balgruuf to be high king he understands the people's needs and he understands battle. When I did the stormcloak side and I seiged whiterun I felt so bad when Balgruuf asked greymane why did he seige the town and damage peoples houses. He said we can't worship talos and I said to myself does he not have another reason!? He did not an then I face palmed and afterwards irileth called me stupid and Balgruuf said he expected better from me.

I deleted the save and went around the various holds and talked with the people understanding the various positions and then I decided to go imperial.(Thanks to what alvor and Sybille said.)

Balgruuf for High King would be a good idea. But that is my opinion. I liked Laila Law-Giver at first because she wanted the best for her people, but then I talked to her son, then realized she's a not as good as she seemed.
