His mighty labours done, and grim determination in his heart, the Dragonborn then set about set about retrieving all the books, scabbards, jewelry, double-distilled skooma and other assorted miscellany he had promised the good folk of Skyrim he would personally fetch... but as of yet hadn't had the time or inclination to attend to... and so the legend of his general helpfullness spread.

As the ages passed, his story faded from memory, but still true sons and daughters of Skyrim would invoke his name when they mis-laid their car-keys.

I just retire to Whiterun. I chop wood, sell them. I go out to hunt and sell the meat and hide. Sometimes I train by beating up a dummy.

When my Dovahkiin is really bored, she goes to find a fort or a cave and explore that.

Every month, she makes a journey to Helgen to pay respect to those who couldn't make it out, and meditate on how close SHE was to not making it out.

She secretly pines for Hadvar, wishes he could love her as she does him. So she married a Nord who resembled Hadvaor and forced him to let her call him 'Hadvie'.

Raptor the Stormcloak Imperial, having looted every bandit camp, crafted every weapon, and made deals with every daedra, decided he wanted more power. More power than any single living thing could call claim to. So he got out his trusty soul-trapping bow and proceeded to kill everything, except for the annoying invincible "important" people. Then he realized he could only use one soul gem per enchantment and was forever alone.
