EA appreciation thread. (Sarcasm.)

Oh yes, there are so many reasons I love EA, they put a ten dollar passcode on every game, along with them stealing my two day free trial... And I have not even had the pleasure of buying one of they're games on PC!

I don't want to turn this into a heated rage thread. But They've bought out companies. Force them to make a game within a certain time limit. And eventually that same company goes down because of EA. I'm also not hating on EA. I've also criticizing other publishers as well.

Purchasing companies, much like marriage, generally requires the consent of both parties. John Riccitiello doesn't run around on horseback, raiding villages and forcing developers into slavery. Developers agree to the terms of whatever contract EA offers them.

What would you do if some guy in a suit says "Hello, i'll give you 50,00000000000 dollars if you let me screw your game series!"

True, but in most cases, the developers seem to not know what they are signing up for. Besides, there are more reasons why I disliked EA and am not signing them out. There are other companies that does this too.

I get that it's fashionable to hate EA, they are likely responsible for pushing some of their subsidiaries into decisions that have reflected poorly on franchises I might have enjoyed and what not.

But a thread dedicated to bashing them is kind of like shooting spam in a barrel.

CD is way too spammy lately.
