5 followers vs 30 bandits...oh my...

Post » Fri Aug 10, 2012 12:43 am

So with a few mods I've been experimenting with I ended up running itno a fort with 5 STACKED followers, outfitted with the best gear, all of which are at lvl 79 and deal 1000-4000 damage per hit, so we walk into a camp and I think "I'm broken, I couldn't possibly lose" So my 3 followers charge in with shields (they have around 450 health each), start slaughtering like expected while Serana and one of my other followers sit in the back with bows/spells and start pegging off the enemies. Then I start noticing "uh oh, the AI has been beefed so they're dodging arrows like mad" so we continue to fight, a follower outright dies half way through and then I hear a bunch of roaring in the distance and look up to see 5 dragons circling overhead.

Right after the computer runs out of memory and crashes :(
Just felt like sharing my story.

Sounds like its time to tone down the mods ;) it's probably not a good thing to have your game crashes every time you want to fight some bandits!

THIS is how it should be played! Haha! Sounds mental.

Only if I had 64bit :( I'm holding off until October though so I can get Windows 8 64bit and a additional 4-8mb of ram, no point in buying windows 7 64bit.
Funny thing is, I reduced the normal spawns to normal and increased the dragons so now I end up fighting a good 9-12 dragons at a time (I can't kill them all off before more show up QQ, I have to abuse shouts and stacked weapons just to keep up) and I rarely crash. Them bandits just hate me...
