Man of Steel Thread

How is the fighting interesting to watch? Most of it is in slow motion. It's more annoying than anything.

SuperMan is my worst hero, c'mon he has no real weakness or anything that makes him interesting.

I'd have to agree with you on this one. I didn't like 300 and have never wanted to see watchmen. Hopefully all the action isn't in slow motion. I'm hopeful that this remake will be good. So far Batman didn't disappoint, but the new spiderman doesn't look good at all. I am kind of Super Heroed out... Can't they come up with better ideas?

No, they can't. It's rare to see new ideas in Hollywood, and they rely incessantly on best selling children's books and comic books now. Way too many superhero movies these days. I'm tired of them. Never was a fan of Superman either, seems like a boring character compared to Batman and other heroes. I mean he's all but invincible so every plot has to revolve around nabbing some cryptonite..

And Zack Snyder should be banned from using bullet time, god he overdoes it.

Film-wise, to me, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman. The first two films. I like to pretend the others didn't exist....

Which isn't to say I think Man of Steel will svck. Could be good, since with Nolan I'm sure you'll have a more dark and tortured - or at least subdued - Superman, which could be interesting....so I'm sure I'll see it at some point. That teaser trailer doesn't give me much to go by, either, of course. I did not like "Superman Returns" much ... which I mostly went to see because of Kevin Spacey as Lex (sounded awesome, right?), but even he couldn't save the role/film from mediocrity.

Too.... Much... SLOWMO!!!!!!

I understand why it was epic, but if they got rid of at least SOME of the slowmotion it would be so much better. And it would be easier to watch.

True enough. If they get this one right however, it would be nice to finally see a good superman movie. I highly doubt that it is going to happen. I might get it on redbox at most.

I'll assume you think the superhero Thor is the only one in existence and have never heard about the Norse god? This particular pic is from Age of Mythology.

I know of Mythology, but I suspected this instant to be the Superhero.

How can you hate The Dark Knight trilogy, they are amazing superhero movies.
