anyone else miss the lesser daedra

Post » Mon Aug 27, 2012 4:34 pm

I really do miss them. Particularly my conjured Clanfear and Daedroth.

I also miss some of the undead. Like some fearsome skeletons (not the wimpy ones in Skyrim), Wraiths, Liches, smell dread zombies. Netches, twighlights. scribs, and of course Goblins.

I am just fearful that in TES VI they might remove mudcrabs -- that is a horrible thought.

Do not speak of such things. I couldn't bear it.

I'd love to see something about the relationship between dragons and daedra. I'd imagine they hate each other like noone else (Invading daedra killed a dragon in Battlespire)...

I was so looking forward to seeing what scamps looked like in Skyrim. I didn't even realise they were missing for a while. Although i guess aprts of Skyrim would be too cold and there's no way for them to get in to Tamriel from Oblivion.

Lore wise it makes sense for them to not be aimlessly roaming around now. Martin Septim made it so that they couldn't just be roaming around randomly. Now spell wise, it would be nice to see scamps and the like come back as summons. And yes, all you who have a crush on winged twilights, you deserve one.

Had my fill of them in Oblvivion. Glad they are not running rampant in Skyrim, but I wouldn't mind a DLC where they are prevelant.

Yup, lore wise it doesn't make sense. Obviously the resolution of the Oblivion crisis is one reason, and then don't forget the creation of the Vigilants of Stendarr who for the 200 or so years between Oblivion and Skyrim have been working hard at hunting down all the Deadras.

Guys for Talos sake, The events of Oblivion made it no harder for Daedra to roam Tamriel than it was prior to the event.... it stopped the GATES not the Daedra

Yeah, no reason not to have lesser Daedra running around. But, like with everything in Skyrim, we were given less.

And if anything, it could make them a bit more...plentiful. It has been 200 years, but some ruins and areas have been sealed for longer.

I really miss the spider daedra most of all. I wouldn't mind just being able to have a permanent frostbite spider zombie, for that matter.

I think the spider Daedra is the one type I miss the least. I do miss Ogrims though, and scamps, and Daedroth. Winged Twilight's are replaced by Hagravens though..

It makes sense in terms of story (less people openly conjuring Daedra, it being harder to find a conjuration teacher because of general sentiment especially in Skyrim, suchlike) but I do kind of miss them in terms of interesting sword-fodder. However, draugr seem to fulfill the gameplay function of enemy Dremora, being humanoid enemies that can come at you with variations of your own techniques.

Daedra are dangerous and their alien looks could freak out new players and hurt their precious feelings. We wouldn't want that to happen, oh no.

I have been begging for more Daedra in Skyrim since release. Daedroth, Clannfear, Scamps, Spider Daedra, Xivilai, even the Winged Twilights and Hungers. They make TES unique and should return! I demand the ability to summon a Daedroth at once!

As far as I know (and I might be wrong about this), but what Martin did at the end of Oblivion prevented the Daedric Princes from entering Nirn as Mehrunes Dagon did. Of course, we see avatars of Sanguine and Hircine running around Skyrim, so there's loopholes in the new rules Martin applied. If they can leak through into Nirn, then it should be possible for lesser Daedra to do likewise.

Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. I love playing a conjurer, and always enjoy having a variety of Daedra at my command.

Crocodile men?

Anyway i find that skyrim's dungeons have too few a variety of creatures. Im sick of seeing draughr all the time. Its almost like they're the only prominent undead around.
