I wanted to thank you for Hearthfire, Beth!

Although it isn't what I expected, I still plan to buy it.

Off topic: Are there even 400 microsoft point cards, or will I have to buy an 800 point card?

Go on amazon.com and I think you can order a online card code for 400 points. At some point amazon added the ability to buy online download codes for xbox live points in alot of increments. So kudos to amazon.....

Should have less bugs, but look who we're talking about here.
That's what I'm worried about hehe. Dawnguard gave me enough bugs. I'm suspect about Hearthfire. I'll end up buying it anyway.

Got a point there, not that I don't respect Bethesda or something. I'm a huge fan, in fact. I just wish they wouldn't throw us in the dark, and actually give us some updates....

EXACTLY how I feel. I've really been disappointed in the way they've been acting since Dawnguards release...

The reason for the hatred is that we love Skyrim, and instead of Bethesda developing more content which will add to our game experience, such as a big new are to explore, new dungeons, new monsters, new factions etc., they are giving us The Sims. Fun.

You do realise that it would take another 6 months or more to have at least a Dawnguard-sized expansion right? So just be quiet and don't buy it if you don't want it.

Got to say, I'm pleasantly surprised with what Hearthfire looks like. One of the things I've always loved about Bethesda games is the whole 'be who you want, do what you want' vibe they've got going, the way the world moves as fast, or as slow as you want it to.

I for one am genuinely going to enjoy just taking days building the perfect wee cottage somewhere in The Rift .

So yeah... :thanks:

No, you love an medieval equivalent of Halo, not a RPG like Skyrim, which is a pretty different definition of "loving" something.

Yeah Hearthfire looks like a great addition to Skyrim. I also want to say that I absolutely loved Dawnguard, since everyone else seems to hate on that too.

Agreed. People seem to forget that this is an RPG.

I think people should calm down. This is something we get while we wait for the big thing,They are sure working on something big. At least what gstaff said. This was just something a small team made, and they thought we would love it.

And i didnt expect a big expansion now. This is a small add-on. But still more content then oblivions "small" add ons.

I seriously cant believe some of these people complaining of "optional" content... Please, please PLEASE do not let this discourage you guys in any way, shape or form. Some of your fans actually appreciate and acknowledge, the time and skill required in making these additions! And fully welcome ANY content you release in the future!

Since Daggerfall (and the elder scroll series), your company has literally given me thousands of hours of enjoyment.

I have paid and will continue to pay, for EVERY product you guys release. Because its obvious your company, has a passion for every elder scrolls game you make, and you make it worth 10X the actual retail value.

So again, Thank you.

Please keep up the amazing work!

Agree.

^ This. I'm actually not surprised at all at how the DLC turned out. I was expecting them to release something smaller first and build up to a massive meaty chunk. Remember the last time Bethesda released a bigger DLC pack (Point Lookout) before a smaller one (Zeta)?
