You can't. Well, maybe at the beginning there is some way. I'm not sure. I've never really tried. But there are points later in the game where you will be forced to kill an enemy.

I've gone through four playthroughs of only killing the bosses.

You have to make alota saves. If you knock anyone out, double check they aren't dead.

I believe they also cannot fall to their death either.

So, like I said.

So, you're being annoying and pedantic? Cool.

The thread title was "how to beat human revolution without killing anyone". I don't see how I'm being pedantic. The OP was apparently asking whether a full pacifist run was possible. It's not.

The very first thing I did when I played Human Revolution was ghost my way through the beginning segments (No full alerts, no kills, no knockouts). It took a bit of Quickloading, but I found it very doable. The hardest section, by far, was the second large room you come to, where you come in to face two guys talking. Getting to the exit without being noticed is tricky as hell, and getting through the doors usually involved alerting them enough to come and check (Now that I recall, I believe opening the door made enough noise to put them into "search" mode), but I managed to do it without them attacking. This was also done on Give Me Deus Ex difficulty, though I don't know if difficulty affects the AI stealth sensitivity.
