Plate (or anything similar) armor has been in all the TES games I've played (3,4,5). So I'm thinking how a heavily armored warrior can run miles in-game. Any thoughts about this?
I used to hate it in Oblivion when I had multiple characters of different builds and I'd go from light armored high athletics to a slow heavy armored character. For some reason in Ob' you really noticed it. To be honest I really hated it. Can't say it is as bad in Skyrim which is better IMO
The people living in Tamriel are well-built and healthy. They can go on for miles and miles where couch potatoes like us would drop simply by putting the armour on.

Yeah, it's definitely more "convenient" but less realistic. It may be that some Heavy Armors would be evenly distributed, but others like daedric would be heavy off balance
Read the book ( i forget the name) about the Heavy Armor Warrior that was such the Master it weighed nothing. To the point he could make love in it. Quite well from what is gathered...So, I'd imagine he could get around the block pretty quick.

I said Heavy Armor was Heavy (obviously) so it would be hard to wear, so ,yes , the "master smith" could make very light armor, but what about all the crappy low level heavy armor you find?

I see...My post was in relation to heavy armor, in general, from a warrior that was a master of heavy armor. It has nothing to do with a smith.
I suppose it like a pair of heavy boots. When you first buy them they seem really heavy and tiring but over time your leg muscles develop and you get to a point you don't even realise they are there.
I think people seriously need to remember this is a game. There is a line between realism and being a total pain in the %6$*.
Having something weigh you down as you play may be more realistic but it isn't exactly very exciting.

You're probably right. Like Sims in real time. I get it.
Speaking of the impracticality of HA, maybe Beth should add something like a "hardcoe" mode (Fallout NV) in future TES games or DLCs, where heavy armor would have extra effects depending on your choices.
