Frustrating if some say "Skyrim is glitchy" - Your E

Oh... those are the worst.
I think the worst glitch I've ever had is when Esbern comes to ask you to talk to Delphine and him (because I had forgotten about them). Once I talked to them, Esbern would zip to wherever I fast traveled and ask me to see them again. Ugh. Make sure that when you complete the game you talk to them immediately, otherwise you may get this annoying glitch! :pinch:

That sounds annoying. When I beat the main questline, the "kill paarthurnax" quest suddenly appears and I had no choice but to accept it. This happens right after Paarthurnax does his little speech and flies off. So when I go to Sky Haven temple and talk to Esbern he says killing paarthurnax must be done. No choice in the matter whether I can accept this mission or not... it's really fricken annoying.

It really does get to me when my friends moan about Skyrim being glitchy. Yeah sure ive fallen into rocks, yeah sure ive fell through the floor in whiterun but i dont think they understand this game is HUGE, it's not a small COD map, it contains the finer details.
Skyrim map is huge and in a nut shell it would be very hard to fix every little glitch in the game, I personally think people need to stop worrying about the little glitches and worry more about actually playing the game. Skyrim is a great game which is abnormally huge, bottom line is it would be near to impossible!

Please tell me what you think about Skyrim and if any strange things have happened to you (like falling through the floor in whiterun) also i'd like to know if you know any people who play first person generic shooters and moan about the best games on the market (skyrim, oblivion etc)
Thank you very much, jeazz

I love the game but the problem is not how big it is, the problem is that people don't take pride in there work now a days, custemer service is not what it use to be, and consumers like yourself are complacent

*save file bloating* such as weapons and shields not being dropped on death, reduced the amount of clutter about and so on *so many damn baskets everywhere!*, as well as fix ash piles ect.
And these are the main issues I want fixed. I shouldn't have to keep storing weapons and shields in bodies every time an enemy drops them. Not exactly a fun wayt o play through the civil war questline. And these ash piles are getting ridiculous. I'm just glad they fixed the nirnroot glow stacking. And to be honest I think bloated saves are the main problem with a lot of people.

I like the way you think. It's polite to not insult, but your actions are your own so you are morally right, but ethically wrong.
Ok, so lets take this one step further so you can see what kind of class of people that i fall into. Ok, Remember the assassination attempt on Hitler by one of his own generals? Well that guy was morally right and ethically wrong too cause he swore to uphold Hitlers power yet Hitler was a murdering psychopathic maniac that had to be stopped for the greater good. Thus, you've made me a forum hero thank you sir :)

Hey look. Half the thread went away because of two posters, one of whom flamed and the other who then decided to take him to task... and then they took over the conversation and derailed the topic.

The OP was actually civil enough and trying to start a discussion and did not break any forum rules. Respond in kind, or don't respond at all.

I seem to have more "glitchyness" with skyrim on 360 since 1.6. Not actual game bugs, things like scenery going walkies, invisible enemies, area's where the render is broken and wont display properly, or area's that just dont load properly resulting in missing floors and such. Prior to the "memory optimisations" it was extremely rare, now its at least once a play session, sometimes several times a session.

To me it looks like a lot of the memory fixes that Beth implemented in the engine to help the PS3 version are having a detrimental effect on the 360 version.

On PC, I've found the least glitchy of the last three TES games. No major problems for me.

I didn't experience any glitches in Oblivion to be honest (but I bought that 6 months after it came out if that makes a difference), and none that I remember in Morrowind (ditto). Skyrim has been a little glitchy for me: crashes during loading screens, disappearing items, stuck NPCs (Thonar has been standing in the same spot for 8 months), follower glitches. Thankfully the most important follower glitch (the follower levelling glitch) has been solved, so I'm not complaining.
