More Dishonored on the Way - DLC news

Post » Sat Oct 27, 2012 2:07 pm

I have a question regarding the DLC and the different European versions of Dishonored:

Since I bought the UK version to get English language but actually have a German PSN account, will I be able to get the German DLC and use it with my UK version?
And if so, will I be able to play the DLC in English then?

I am asking because that was possible with certain games in the past (for example Deus Ex: Human Revolution), and because I was already able to redeem the UK pre-order code for Dishonored with the German PSN-Store. It is, however, sadly the exception rather than the rule, since most games that had different European versions in the past also had different versions of their DLC that were not compatible with other versions of the main game. I would highly appreciate it if someone would clarify the situation, because I would rather not want to buy DLC that might turn out incompatible with my version :-[

The challenge maps will be tiny, but we get ten so...

I'm glad they are keeping the DLC in Dunwall and Daud makes the most sense but....

I hope they just don't give us the same maps just from Daud's perspective but show us new and interesting locales with the same open endedness as the early to mid missions of the campaign.

As long as the story-driven DLC will have more narrative and depth, I'll be very patient (or is that impatient? :P). Either way, I'd like to think that Arkane read our feedback, both good and less so, and will produce some strong add-ons. Besides, Daud makes for a much more fleshed-out protagonist anyway!

I'd like to see the Flooded district. Before it got Flooded.

I would like to see some of the scrapped levels get incorperated into Dauds storyline if possible.

One mission included asassinating the lawyer responsible for lying that residents had the plague so they can get evicted and acquire more real estate.

Another mission involved helping or hindering an attempt to stifle a whaling expedition greenpeace style. Although I can't see Daud having any involvement with that.

The last mission took place in an insane asylum where the inmates are super sensitive to noise.
