Well for me its, from devs perspective, if you have a steady income just like EA lied 500k subs, no they dont want to lose it. F2P and sub fees in this genre means, devs are struggling.

I think we may have to just agree to disagree on this topic lol.

A subscription fee would all but ensure that the game turned into TOR. The Guild Wars 2 model is better imo.

TOR's success has nothing to do with their business model. EA/BW telling you so is nothing more than F2P propaganda, for those smart enough to see through it. TOR's numbers took such a huge dive because TOR is the same old stuff everyone's already seen and done... again and again and again. People are tired of playing the same old crap, guised under a different disguise and THAT is exactly what TOR is. It's not even a great copy of all the other successful MMOs.

You guys wanting F2P are absolutely insane if you believe you won't be paying as much or MORE than a monthly sub fee. Bill me once a month and let me not worry about unlocking every other damn thing, TYVM.

Whatever happens I am sure devs have made up their minds already. I just hope, be it pay to play or free to play, that it wont affect my gameplay balance at all. That is all I want, fair and balanced gameplay to each and anyone of us.

No, I know Im right. Subs also means devs know how many players are gonna play it in the future, Im sure its easier for them to do decisions when they know theres players playing. Also one thing about subs you guys dont probably know, devs get all that money from them, it goes directly to them. Theres no middle-man. Go without sub fees is probbly most stupiest thing you can do.

Exactly the same for me. I don't care either way as I am still going to play, just my preference is a one-time payment or a free-to-play with sub available model.

Ah, okay, so you are taking the route of the jerk by continuing to argue though I have accepted our positions are different. Have a good day then, try not to get hit by a truck.

If we are going to get along we will need to have a bro-hug and develop secret handshake.

I vote no subscription fees but mini expansions offered on the cash shop as often as possible. Mini expansions would include new questlines that have gear rewards at the end, but you have to play the content to get the loot. It's no different than how the gear associated with the end-level of a retail expansion being superior to the gear at the end-level of the core game. It would just come more often and in smaller chunks...
