wont get past loading screen!

If I enter my new house (lakehouse) or leave the house the new area wont load. It keeps loading. I had to restart the game and start a early save! I dont have this issue anywere else except with the lakehouse. I didnt buy the other 2 lots so not sure if it happeneds there as well. I never had this issue before heartfire, only problem I have is long loading time, but not like I experienced with heartfire.

Unless the game actually freezes, just leave it to load, it will sometimes take a while. You could turn ALL the autosaving options off to decrease the loading time and the amount of freezing, but you would then have to remember to save yourself when you needed to. Make sure you have enough free space on the hard drive, and saving to the hard drive rather than some other place would be best. If you still have problems and you have the space you could install Skyrim to the hard drive if you have no already done so.

As a last resort you could try this suggestion.
If you haven't tried these already, be sure to do the following:

· Clear the system cache
· Delete/reinstall the game data (if installed to HDD)
· Delete/reinstall patches and all DLCs

Done all the above several times, Hearthfire is just laggy, buggy, freezy and crashy.

yeah did it too! well I read somewhere on this forum finishing room after room.. and so far this is working a bit better. I can remove the workbench. while I had those crashes I had all workbenches still there.. Also I discovered while I build all the furniture at the workbench they all were still in the list to build.. ( sorry my english isn't so good so hopefully I explained it good enough). so kinda weird building the same chair again while it is already there. Those problems dissapeared by removing workbenches except one room! hmmmm...
