Lets be honest - this is gonna be a bugfest

What exactly is there to beta test for this? Seriously. Pretty sure the worst that could go wrong outside of the obvious is the house deed not always working or skeevers not appearing. Remember the Oblivion house DLCs? I know Oblivion wasn't using the same engine as Fallout 3, but just think about those. This thing is just a more humble and customizable version of those.

These homes are going to be like the homes already in the standard game. They are going to be their own cells. This stuff was most likely beta tested during the Gamejam. The thing that had the whole build your own house idea in it.

Does anyone expect a video game not to have bugs?

Somehow people do... Guess people just are used to games where the bugs are less obvious.

Is it wrong that I've never had any house related bugs?

If you've began a new game since Dawnguard, then you will encounter the alchemy lab glitch when you buy Breezehome, if you played prior to a certain patch and attempted to place books you would have encountered the books disappearing, if you drop items from your inventory onto the floor of any house, then proceed to handle them, things will go flying in all directions and so on.

The fact you haven't encountered any thus far simply means you didn't or haven't done any of the above. Other than the bookcase glitch, the things mentioned above still happen. Then you have/had the house in Windhelm. That was a complete nightmare. I dunno if that's even been fixed yet.
