Before Dawnguard, my game froze about three times. Since Dawnguard, my game has froze about six times. Otherwise, as far as actual bugs and glitches go, I was good until I stopped playing altogether. :(

I had no bugs so far, but my game froze once (although it does happen every now and then anyway). I started a fresh game with the Dawngard DLC so I don't know if that helps in having less bugs. Crossing my fingers.

I hope i don't call down the wrath of the game gods, but so far at least, Dawnguard has not hurt me. No crashes, or glitches so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, as I am actually enjoying it quite a bit.

In my level 40 Altmer character who is my most recent I've had very few lag issues, one or two freezes but the quest bugs are quite bad, I haven't joined the DB yet so I can't comment there, I wanna finish the thieves guild first. HOWEVER on my original character, Lucien. A level 60 Nord (yes he's only level 60, my girlfriend keeps me busy, leave me alone xD) The game is damn near unplayable. The lag is so bad that EVERY loading screen takes 10-20 mins to load and that includes opening my inventory and my favourites list. It also crashes every time I surrender to a guard and yes I cleared my hard drive of my skyrim saves now I only have 1 save per character and I have 3 characters.

Lucien (Nord, lvl 60)
Rajick Khan (Khajit, level 30 or so I think)
Veris Marock (Altmer, level 40) I dunno if that info's important to the my crashes lol Best to include it anyway though.

Ah dude I have not experienced a single glitch throughout dawngaurd.

Wrong, even Serana is glitched out. As for the crashing, that is EXTREMELY common...

I have not experienced any major new bugs and I play on an xbox arcade, the lowest grade type, it has no harddrive just 500mb I think.

I play Skyrim via and have downloaded Dawnguard onto a clean USB-stick that I purchased for the purpose.
I dont know whats causing your problems but maybe you could try running the game in this way?
Hope it helps.

Hey, I can't even get near Dimhollow Crypt, whether I fast travel to the Lord Stone or huff it there from a farther away location. Every time I get close, the game just freezes.

I feel your pain. I had maybe $25 this month to spare for personal pleasures, got a new pack of socks and Dawnguard, and I can't enjoy Dawnguard because of all the bugs. I didn't HAVE to give them my money, but I chose to, and I don't care how 'entitled' this sounds, but I'd like what I paid for to at least be stable and playable.

I know how frustrating this is. But after all this is Bethesda. They MAKE VERY BUGGY GAMES. Have you not lernt the lesson yet that you don't buy anything from Bethesda and expect it not to be buggy?
I expect anything Bethesda to TOUCH to be very buggy.

When the next DLC comes out, are you or anyone else going to buy the DLC as soon as it comes out, or are you going to wait a few months later for the patches to fix them? Lesson lernt?

The next DLC will be just as buggy if not more. It's something you have to accept from Bethesda. You complain much less and it's better for your health if you do. :P

I guess you have a very valid point there. I still remember ES2, the final patch still left so many things untouched upon that a massive community patch was made.

I'll just wait for them to get to releasing a patch. I can't really do anything about it until then, so I'll just play something else and wait and see if Bethesda actually fixes this.

ive had dawnguard cause nothing but problems, have to reload all the time and see if the quest will work this time around. been stuck on the moth priest for days now. its obviously waiting on some scripted action it just wont trigger. and i have looked up what to do it just doesn't want to let that happen.

It's because their very incompetent game developers. I'll continue to support Skyrim, but any other game associated with Bethesda I will not buy.

Sad to say, it seems Bethesda makes AWSOME games about 6 months after the release of the game. Vanillia Skyrim is so much better and stable now, but took what 6 or 9 months to happen?

Maybe that is why I don't get to beta test their games. I keep them accountable for their actions. Sadly, it seems these were mentioned in Beta Testing (I thought NDA would prevent anyone talking what happened in Beta testing) and Bethesda didn't listen to the people to fix them.

Said it once, say it gain, I love Bethesda, but they are incompetent game developers when they RELEASE a product. Funny where is Todd now? Boy he knows how to spew the crap before a game is launched. Once launched, he is hidden and not herd from again till the next release. :P

1) agreed. I wish I knew this before I bought the PS3 copy on release day.

2) They have him hidden so that disgruntled PS3 players like myself do not rip him apart like a wookie and beat his lying ass to death with his own arms. I hate being lied to; that is why I'm divorced.

I'd still like a 360 patch asap though. I just spent the last bit trying to work it so I could access Dimhollow Crypt. Even running from Mzark to it on FOOT, as soon as I hit the exterior cell the entrance is in, game crashes. I can't continue playing it if I can't access Dimhollow freaking Crypt.
