Lol that's exactly what I've been replaying lately. Nostalgia is such a beast.

The title update is expected to arrive on Monday. So it's likely, but not definite.

Heh, guys. You become crazy for just a weekend :P but as a Half-Life series fan, I've been waiting for Half-Life 2: Episode Three (or Half-Life 3) for so long.

Well, I'm starting to get really disapointed . . .
There should be at least some kind of reward for being so "patient" over the last few days.
But I guess the folks at Beth, or MS, are like: "You should be happy to play it anyway . . ."

Are you serious? A reward for what, sitting on your ass? Also, what forum have you been reading? I saw little patience here, just a lot of folks that act like gaming is a common necessity, bemoaning the added week of waiting like having no food or shelter.
I really understand the frustration to some degree, in Switzerland the damn thing still isn't out in any language, but some of you guys are just acting like big crybabies. People demanding compensation and an official apology from Bethesda via a petition is just naive and juvenile as hell, From whatever perspective you look at it. The petition would require 5000 people to support it, which is a laughably small number to present to a gaming industry giant, and even ignoring that, what if they did apologize, would you actually think they meant it? If there is anything people should get into their head about Bethesda is that they are the number 1 in the world to [censored] up every launch for any of their titles, as things are now, they are just simply not able to release any game or dlc without major problems, so might as well learn something from it, like the fact that as a publisher, Bethesda is flat out incompetent. I'm not here to pardon Bethesda for their complete [censored] up, they clearly didn't even test the damn thing before it got released in Europe, but people need to stay dignified about these kind of things, an advlt just doesn't snap when he doesn't get his entertainment in time.

This thread doesn't support neither petitions nor uncivil behaviours, so it's all fine.

An user said yesterday that the german xbox support said that the update was going to be ready today or tomorrow. With all the respect, but i don't believe that xD.

But surely flaming, because you feel like people on the internet have been acting like fools, isn't what one would consider the mature thing to do either?

Yes and infact we are not flaming freely. We are complaining about, as advlts (in mi case at least) we've spent a portion of our money in something and we want of course in time the thing that we have paid for. Maybe that user has his parents paying the content for him and he doesn't mind spending or not spending the money on something, and that's why he says that. He must understand us.

I've learned the hard way not to expect too much from a fresh bethesda release. Expect nothing or the worst case scenario and you never can get disappointed and to be frankly i'm more angry about M$ an their [censored] Patchday policy, without their weird old school policy we all would have the damn patch already.. thats not how things normally work 2012, more like 1990.

Man, guys... You shoukd really stop being so damn upset because there is some bug which is surely going to be corrected really soon. That bug does not even make Skyrim unplayable. You can still have fun with the base game until the patch is going to come out and it is surely not a bad situation. Bethesda is really fast at making patching compared to other developers. There are some bugs in The Sims e, for example which no one of the developers cares about so that the players have to do the patches. Would you better like it like this?

Absolutely right. But not for just this last few days, but a whole week.
It's not like if this damned bugged DLC was free...
