''expected to arrive on Monday''
EXPECTED. Maybe there are hidden, even worse news.

I wouldn't even be surprised anymore. **** Bethesda.

Monday is completely fine in my opinion. Yes, it's unfortunate that all of this happened in the first place, but the bug didn't upset me nearly as much as their continued silence did.

No **** they said nothing. They got their little admin to first tell us that it "could be released as soon as tomorrow" which would've been Wednesday, now they got that same little Admin to tell us that it MIGHT be released on Monday. I don't believe a single letter that guy types anymore. And we didn't even get a statement or an apology, as if Bethesda are too good to admit their mistakes.

Bethesda you aren't good at all when you act this way towards thousands of your european customers. This is weak.

Thats so true! There wouldnt have been all this flaming if they made an clear statement in first place. Just sayin maybe tomorrow only to get people satisfied were totally wrong.

I'm a little worried... the staff say that the "naked issue" will be released monday..

this means that only the nvdeguard bug will be repaired...

11 july i've downloaded Dawnguard and the hands of my pg were invisible... i've try to delete dawnguard but the issue remain.... so in fact downloading Dawnguard literally broke my Skyrim, and with this message from the developers, i think i cant play skyrim in general anymore..

thanks bethesda.

Have you experienced the 'invisible hands' issue before installing Dawnguard, as well?

The worst part of it :
We'll get rid off the NPC issue but we're far from getting rid off the huge amount of other bugs now reported in so many places.
Apparently Bethesda doesn't care at all, and seems to be really proud of many serious issues (pre Dawnguard included) when we read their FAQ.

It doesn't work ?

It's a Dawnguard issue i also had when i played with a (already)vampire character after Dawnguard installation. The only way i found to solve this is to go to morthal and meet Falion, cure from vampirism and here we go, your arms come back. But you're human now.

The only other approaching known bug is the Linwe armor which make your arms also disappear. But here we can see arms armor, it's just the character skin that disappears.

Then it's because of the missing textures and stuff. It'll be all fixed with the fix supposed to come next week.

As some others have already said, don't worry too much about that. Invisible hands are also caused by missing textures.
I tried to fix my armour by uninstalling Dawnguard, but my armour remained invisible. Dawnguard probably replaces some old textures with new ones, and when you uninstall dawnguard the old textures do not simply reappear. No new textures, no old textures = invisible.

Let's hope they will fix ALL of these invisible etc. bugs. And not only the invisible armor.

Btw. It will give a fixed version of dawnguard and no patch right? So I have to re-download it right?

Obviously they will.
I don't think they can change the source file in the XboXlive, we'll certainly have to download an update.

Well, for me monday sounds fine. I had a bug with F:NV, where I wasn't able to visit an main-quest-relevant place and it took about 2,5 months until the next patch came and fixed it. In Oblivion, i had a huge bug where all people were yellow boxes with an blue exclamation mark on it (like missing meshes or something). And F3 was lagging and freezing all the time, too. By the time, i get used to getting buggy stuff from Bethesda. xD
I'm not even angry anymore. Yes, they made a big mistake, which could've been easily avoided by playing the dlc for 5 minutes, but whatever. Sh?t happens. Being upset dosn't change anything. + I still have Mass Effect 1 to finish and on Steam is Summersale. So, the weekend won't be boring, i think.

Do I get these Update from the xboxlive marketplace or will it be downloaded automatically?

Completely reinstalling the main game would undoubtedly fix my armour texture issue, but I'll be brutally honest here - I couldn't really be bothered. XD
I'll just wait and download the fixed version of Dawnguard when it becomes available. I'm actually quite curious as to why my armour was affected in the first place. I'm using Falmer armour, the old version of it that's been in the game since day 1, so no idea what they did with it. Perhaps I get a redesigned female version. That might look pretty neat actually now that I think about it.... We'll see.

no offense and i havent tried it myself but dawnguard cant effect anything if its deleted including deleting main game and clear your hdd cache (clearin your cache should delete all updates). should make it pretty much impossible for dawnguard to have any effect after these steps???

[[[dont forget that your dawnguard gamesaves can be corrupt if you do this]]]
