It BETTER be. If they don't give up PS3 users Hearthfire, I'm going to be VERY UNHAPPY!

We don't know who all will be adoptable and who won't, so I can't be sure. And it also depends on which character I'm playing. But I know I want to have at least one of them take the little girl in Honorhall who begs you to adopt her. She looks like she needs a loving home.
Yeah, all we know at this point is that all the options are human children, at least that's my impression. So far, we know for certain that Lucia and Gralnach are adoptable, and possibly the Honorhall orphans once you complete a certain quest. It wouldn't surprise me if you could adopt most of the children in the game that can be orphaned. There'll probably be more children added in as street urchins besides Lucia as well.

Gonna look for a Reguard girl to adopt. Failing that a Nord girl. I'll need to talk to them first.

Don't make him angry, or he will prank you, hard. :fakenopic:

I watched a YT video about unnecessary censorship in Skyrim. They bleeped out the word prank in that quote.. ("Make me angry and I'll ***** you.. Hard and a lot too.") Made my day and I might just adopt him for that reason... Wait.. Maybe not..

What is the point, they all look exactly the same, so after a while you might not even remember which one you chose.

I hope they fix this problem as well with the DLC, and give each child his unique face.

I am going to adopt a whole slew of children. My Steward, Bard and even Carriage driver will all be members from the Thieves Guild.

I will rename my two favourite children The Artful Dodger and Charley Bates and rename myself as Fagin.

Good times will be had by all.

A young male Khajiit and a little girl Bosmer! ;D

We'd be a pretty family. Me, Ysolda and zeh kidz.

Except for, you know, there will probably not be any non-human kids. Which is lame. It'd be awesome if Beth would add them. Imagine little Khajiit, Argonians and Orcs running around. :]

This. Babette is pretty much the only child in this game I would adopt. It's even more funny, because she technically isn't a child.

In Game, she is no more of a little girl then you are

I thought the same too, but for my character after becoming Harbinger, being a key figure in ending Skyrim's civil war, and slaying Alduin he would be looking for some normalcy. Sure he would still go out and wander with his wife (wouldn't get married till Alduin is dead and his he doesn't want a wife that has to wait for him to come home.) But his wandering would be closer to hunting for food instead of looking for trouble to get into. As for the kids at home, my steward would be the person I trust the most second to my wife. Even as the game is now, I spend alot of time at home with my wife, she goes almost everywhere with me and if shes doesn't I don't stay way for long. Its a bit guilt tripy when your wife says "Welcome home, off on some adventure I bet."

Only one of my characters is married and both are vampires so perhaps not the best parents. Braggen would adopt the Windhelm misfit Aventus if he is available to adopt. Braggen did the Dark Brotherhood questline so would like to teach the kid there are better things than being an assassin. There is also the orphan in Riverwood who wants to grow up to be a smith like her dad used to be, Braggen failed to save her parents from a dragon so he would be willing to adopt that one as well.

Aussie is still procrastinating on marriage, she has nothing against pets and children though, if she does not need to be married she will just leave the lot in the hands of the Steward to look after.

Rork is still looking for a good looking Orc girl to marry, and would not be interested in adopting any Nord or Imperial children. The only abode he has dreams of building one day is his own stronghold. If no plans for Orc strongholds are available, he will be doing no building.

It would be nice if you could build Orc-style, it looks pretty epic. Dwemer-style, too: your own private Markarth.

After a bit of thought, I have preliminary choices, of sorts.

For Nyx, my Dunmer: Hroar. Since she has two female housecarls, she feels the place needs another guy to keep Balimund (her husband) company. He says he'd be the best son ever... we shall give him the chance.

For Tiberius, my Imperial: Runa. It's so touching, the way she begs to be adopted. One of my characters had to be able to say yes. And Tiberius (while fond of all children) has no particular favorite.

For Ironpelt, my Khajiit: Aventus. Ironpelt is the ultimate Illusionist/Assassin: invisible until it's too late, and then he administers instant death, and vanishes into the night. The Dark Brotherhood will soon find itself obsolete. If Aventus wants to learn the trade of death, he's got the ultimate teacher.

I would adopt Runa and Hroar from Honorhall, if I was able to but ironically enough those children are not adoptable in the game...
