If PC players got it first do you think they would give a Skeever's {censored} how long the consoles had to wait? Hell no. They would be rubbing it in our faces, like they do with their mods. In my book PC stands for pretentious {censored}.

I would because I play both. Why do PC players have to be pretentious [censored]s when most games started on the PC. If it wasn't for PC, you wouldn't be playing your games with your high and mighty ego.

Pc should be an after thought

Zenimax and Bethesda know this - pc numbers go down year to year - people can not afford pc gaming computers but most have consoles

^ This. Buying a top line PC is like putting a down payment on a car, where as a console such as 360 will be cheaper by a long run.

You don't have to buy a top-line PC to play games. I just wish Bethesda would give us information. Even if they tell us it'll be a couple months, that's better than "When we get information, we'll tell you."

Good Vivec's Sermons. Why argue about a hobby? Some people pay over a thousand dollars on golf. Does that make them dumb? No. They are enjoying themselves. If they strut around with a freaking golf club acting like a jerk over it, they are just jerks. The hobby has nothing to do with their attitude. The attitude is the person's attitude. Not the hobby's.

If you like the consoles more, great. Just remember you aren't spending any less on your hobby. You enjoy the hobby, though. Same goes for all hobbies. Just things we enjoy.

Actually, thanks to consoles being main platform for most games, you don't need to upgrade PCs often anymore. Also, six months after console's release, you can build a PC more powerful than the consoles for less money than they cost, that will last you until the next consoles are released ;) And the cheaper games help too.

I tried playing Skyrim on my $700 PC and was told I didn't have enough video memory for the game. You need to go spend 150 bucks on a cheap video card just to play it. Unless you have the required video memory, which won't come included with cheap PCs.

4GB XBox 360 Bundles go for $299. A Dell PC (we're talking the cheapest POS brand you could buy) is $499 AND you can't upgrade the video memory.

So... $299 and you can play it? or pay $499 and realize you can't even run the damn game?

But you get what you pay for. I'd fork out the extra cash just so I could use the console to fix all these damn bugs.

I hate to be that person, but you can buy a good PC for $499. I'm not telling you to do so right now, just saying. Just look up Newegg. I saw a few PCs for that price. I'm just putting this out there for information purposes.

That's why the numbers are showing that PC Gaming is on the up-and-up, and will soon out-pace console gaming? Because the hardware has plateaued reasonable gaming rigs get cheaper and cheaper; for a PC the same price as the 360 at release right now, you'd probably have no problem playing Skyrim — not on Ultra, but definitely higher res than the 360.

Buying from Dell tells people you either don't know what you're buying or you're an idiot. I built my PC for 499$ and play Skyrim on high settings.

If you can upgrade your machine, then yeah. It's a great option. But the point of the matter is that it costs more to start off with. Alot of kids get consoles as gifts for holidays and such, while a PC is something that costs more if you want decent quality.

I won't argue that either one costs more in the end, Arkay knows I've spent over $400 on my XBox's peripherals alone.

I didn't buy my machine from Dell. I never stated I did. I'm just stating a cheap option. If someone doesn't know what they're doing, they are likely to buy a PC from a place that pre-builds and offers payment options.

And honestly, taking in that context makes you look foolish.

If you buy a machine made this year or the year before, yeah. You can run Skyrim no problem. But my PC is a few years older than that, and even though I've upgraded my PC, it still runs laggy/choppy in high resolution. My XBox with HDMI won't lag until I'm level 50. Or I've been playing it for 8 hours straight.

I will say this a few times, and I will say it again. How much sense does it make for Bethesda to take the deal from Microsoft to release a DLC to only the Xbox for 30 days, when they will not release it for the other platforms? That would mean they just screwed Microsoft out of money, which I am pretty sure they cannot do.

Gaming platforms are like cars.
You can get a cheap crappy car, it will get you where you want, but it wont be fabulous. (xbox/ps3 graphics arnt great and you cannot fix anything.)

You can get a top of line sports car with the latest features. (PC enabling you to fix all your problems and bugs plus you get those sixy mods)

In the end you get what you pay for.

Saint row The Third
Fallout 3
The Witcher 2
Later on Dark Souls
So I not holding my breath with this.

Why I say that in my earlier post there is a artical I read in a magazine last week reviewing Drawn Guard there were silence when the reviewer asked when the pc version will be released.

There's been an ongoing thread about the whole DLC release date thing, so no need for this thread, thanks.
