Thank you for this suggestion I would never have thought that was the problem but it turned out it was problem solved

The Dawnguard NPC's are also pulling double-duty as glorified guards. Kind of like the Fighter's Guild in Oblivion, if your bounty is too high (or even exists at all), then they won't want to associate with you.

nevermind my problem is solved too, I killed a few vigilants of Stendarr on my way to the castle and apparently a horse or something witnessed it so I didn't loose my bounty.

Yup.

For anyone heading to Fort Dawnguard: Clear any bounties that you may have. The Dawnguard are not going to associate with wanted criminal scum.
