A word on werebears, spears, dragon mounts

Werebears are supposed to have a considerable presence in Skyrim according to lore.

As for other strains of lycanthropy in TES:

Werevultures
Wercrocodiles
Werelions
Weresharks
Wereboars

Are all among the various strains of Lycanthropy mentioned in lore.
This.

Same with the Volkihar though, OB told us that they were Frost Masters and stuff but come to find out that they just live in the cold and DO NO SPECIAL FROST STUFF

That's a thing I don't understand. Yes, the DLC looks contentwise great and also they put the Volkhiar in. But why the hell they split so often appart from their own created lore. Why don't make the Volkihar something special, something interessting, maybe somethin really nordic.
The Vampires of Dawnguard are a walking cliche. These "Vampire Lords", bats, a classical castle (Which isn't in anyway nordic), coffins to sleep, they want hidding the sun and so on. I mean is Betheseda so hiddenness? You can't make a more generic fantasy, then they do with these vampires. That's a point Betheseda really disappoint me. Who can these team ever made something like Morrowind, where is all the creativity gone?
