*Sigh* It also annoys me how....odd Serana's priorities are. She doesn't seem evil (she shows pity toward the souls in the soul cairn for example) yet she doesn't seem to care at all about all the horrible things her family did, instead concerning herself with her daddy issues. If she was written a bit differently, say we got a sense that she really was evil (Maybe she is but I haven't seen that yet) but still had an ironic and well established devotion to family I could understand. But when she says things like "When you throw your lot in with Molag Bal, family just doesn't matter anymore..." I can't help but think, "Really? That's the first issue that comes to mind when you worship the raqelord? Not the murders of thousands of people your family comitted, the blood orgies and torture. THIS is what bothers you? That family doesn't matter anymore?" I mean, you can think of a way to make this make sense, but if it was written better it wouldn't be such a stretch. She doesn't seem evil yet she shows no real remorse for anything she did (or her family made her do) despite displaying the capacity to feel pity. Sure she seems to think what she did was "degrating" but that's just about her and not about the lives her family destroyed. If this is was meant to be an actual part of her character, and it goes deeper than this, it should have been explored more. As of now it just feels like she was put in the game for the character to get attached to, and not to be a 3 dimensional character.
