So basically, Dragonborn will by Skyrim's Shivering Isles?

The Shivering Isles were definitely the best part of Oblivion, I personally consider Tribunal bethesdas best dlc ever but that might mainly be nostalgia.
Soul Cairn was definitely also a huge disappointment, it was flat, bland, and besides from the dragon there was no new enemies and besides from the horse skull, those plants, and the spell tomes there was no actual new gear... There wasn't a single dungeon, Jiub was a badly done attempt to make disappointed Morrowind fans waste money on the next TES game, I was stuck with a really annoying companion for the majority of the areas content, was only two misc quests. While some of the look and feel was right then it would've been 50 times as entertaining if the flat plane was replaced with an endless void, the entire terrain being floating rock, bone, and soul gems. The horse quest would be completely redone, with it simply being you finding a random skeletal horse wandering around the interesting and redone threedemensional landscape, you reach it and then you follow said horse until it eventually reaches its skull which upon being picked up lets you ride the horse and summon it, and the guy asking you to find the horse and thanking you for it otherwise having no involvement with the quest. The entire saint Jiub thing should be removed. There'd actually be other interesting enemies, artifacts, quests, and at least six dungeons.

Odds are HMs realm will beat Soul Cairn in design and enemy amounts but it'll be even more lacking in none-quest related artifacts, and it'll probably be a once you've seen it once for the one quest that you see it it'll never be fun to play again.

I'm praying that Apocrypha isn't just one big combat arena, which seems to be the gist of what the trailer showed. I imagined Hermaeus Mora's realm to be much different.
dude... where the heck did you get 'combat arena' from when looking at the apocrypha scenes in the trailer?
thats the worst designed arena ive ever seen if thats what beth was going for
it looks nothing like one
