how much damage
Counting it's superior damage (Not counting archery skill) PLUS 50% armor penetration it is well over the Dragonbone bow. I dont have the exact numbers on me though

Blame bethesda. A theives guild in skyrim where you get 1 theif quest in the entire MQ of the guild. As assassins guild where you dont have to kill peope undetected ect.

As far as I know you can get the bolts and then switch sides to vampire if you want to?

I'm with the DG and I just got the quest to find the schematic for exploding bolts, because I opted to do sidequests before the main storyline. I haven't had an opportunity to switch sides yet, so yes it's possible to have everything if you're a minmaxer.

If you already made your choice then I guess tough luck, but no biggie. Just make a separate Dawnguard character.
I don't think you can switch sides...

You can be a vampire lord duing dawnguard questline. You get offere it again a second time. Still have to kill harkon on both questlines though.

Serana the corrupter won't let you stay human, she'll keep flirting and tempting you with vampirism til you break down and let her sink her fangs into you, she wants to spend eternity with you bad.

I've moved your thread to the spoilers section.

Do not post spoilers in the Dawnguard General Discussion forum.
