What are the Elf lands like then?

I thought battlespire was on soul cairn and the mages simply created a permanent portal? I haven't actually played battlespire so I am probably wrong but I heard that was one of the reasons why people were excited about the introduction of soul cairn
No, the Battlespire is small area between in Oblivion and Mundus, so it's in neither. However, Battlespire had a gate to the Soul Cairn.

Almost all elves share the same Pantheon. And all races worship Akatosh in some form. The only two Divines you could say are confirmed because every culture has them are Akatosh and Lorkhan.
The Dunmer worship the Daedra (as did the Ayleids, I believe). The Orcs worship Malacath. I'm not sure about the Bosmer.

If I am not mistaken it was a pocket realm akin to the outer realms Yagrum talks about and Dagon attacked it, or it was afloat in the realm of Mehrunes Dagon.

It was an 'artificial pocket dimension constructed and maintained to house the Imperial Battlemage College', or words to that effect.

Bosmer share a Pantheon with the Altmer. I think Dwemer acknowledged the gods, but didn't worship them.

Correct.
To see the Dwemer as atheists is wholly wrong.
They knew the gods existed. They just did not believe in them.
Similar to how you can know the mailman exists but not believe he will treat your mail with any kind of care.

Then only 3 of the 7 mer races actually worshiped the Aedra.

Yup, exactly why they found the heart of Lorkhan, which was a god. If they didn't believe in him, they'd of just thrown it back underground.

Aedra are mostly an Alessian concept.

I think they all believe in them, though. The Alyieds were just power hungry pricks, that's why they worshiped daedra.

It was the manifestation of a story a metamagical remnant of Creation.
The Dwemer knew such a thing must exist as their tonal architects long ago gleaned the nature of the world through zero-creation, anti-creation and harmonics.

The Dwemer saw nothing profane in utilising the Heart for their own means, which is where the ungodliness comes in.
Few, if any other individuals or races would have used the Heart for something so anti-Mundus.
Even the Tribunal used it just to climb a spoke.

Ah I see. Even so though the knowledge of how to create such a pocket would have come from using older knowlege and expanding on it and the theory involved before the actual execution would most likely have taken a long time. This is therefore an example of magical advancement.

Love this comparison so much

I like to debate.
Sometimes you get people debating from a purely religious point of view.
I have found that that argument explains my viewpoint while at the same time not making things overcomplicated.
I want to respect everyones opinion because I see reality as sort of a puzzle and you need many different viewpoints to make sense of it.

In that way, my way of viewing Tamriel is the same as my way of viewing reality, except in real life Im much more stringent on what is 'real' and what not. After all, mythopoetic forces in Tamriel make certain that belief = reality.
I have yet to see an astronomer convince me of same.

And as Vivec said (according to a loading screne) "Our brethren, the Dwemer scorned the daedra and mocked our rituals, they prefered more the (something) of wisdom and logic" Or something like that....wow that quote reallt didnt go well :P

I think it was "Our Brothers, the Dwemer, scorned the daedra and mocked our rituals, preferring their gods of knowledge and logic."

Reason and logic, but yes, that was what Vivec said.
I love Vivec.
And his http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:36_Lessons_of_Vivec,_Sermon_14.

What Vivec said here, must as always with the liar and poet be seen in a metaphorical sense.
