Ah alright, well then I appreciate the information about that, I'll definitely have to mess with that after I finish the MQ

Personally I sided with the Vampires because I wanted the super buffing artifacts..they seem to be more worth it than the upgraded crossbows the Dawnguard gets.

Had vamps and revered dragon attack each other I just watched until they stopped and murdered me instead

I came across 3 vampires standing over a dead dragon yesterday. Didn't think anyone besides the players could actually kill one. It was cool though got a free soul.

I once had a elder dragon and a blood dragon attack me at the same time while I was fighting the magic floating thing during the Winterhold college quest.

I don't see why the DLC is to blame for this. You must have done the quest to get him out of prison, and if a vampire attack was happening at the same time it was just bad luck.
