Have you been to the forgotten vale, yet? There are two of them.

The actual Snow Prince is not there, but Arch-Curate Vyrthur is, and he is on a throne, has dialogue, and is a Snow elf.

i think seeing these snow elfs in the forgotten vale hints towards a snow elf dlc that is what everyone has been wanting and i would say they will get just that.

Yes this is fine and dandy but the files say Snow prince not Arch-Curate or snow elf in the throne

No, the files say Snow ELF Prince, not Snow Prince, there's a difference.
I personally think that these leaked files were hints they dropped to spark our curiosity. We wouldn't have speculated about a possible involvement of the Snow Elves anywhere near as much as we did, had the files simply said 'Vyrthur' or 'arch curate'.

but the files had an animation for something along the lines of "snow elf prince burning ascension"

Vyrthur didn't do anything that looked like a burning ascension and if this was just a taster of what we could get in a snow elf based DLC, I can't wait to see the full thing.

besides, Gelebor DID hint towards there possibly being more snow elves besides him

Well, it is Arch-Curate Vyrthur, not Snow Prince. There are many things in the files that they have odd names for - The Ancient Falmer Armor is referred to as "Ivory" in the code. Is Ivory Amor in the game? No, it is called Ancient Falmer Armor. Is a Snow Elf Prince is the game? No, he is called Arch-Cyrate Vyrthur. Get it?

Burning ascension? Like when Vyrthyur levitates and bursts with Sunlight to knock back Serana?

The naming schemes for objects in the CK aren't always indicative of what the ingame item is. For example, many dungeons are decorated with "BanditScaffolding". Does that mean every cave using it is filled with bandits? Nope, its just what they named the item in the CK to keep things organized.

True, but what he is saying is that files are sometimes named different from what you expect. Father Grigory is called Monk rather than Father Grigori I believe.

I know how the CK is kept organised, but you can't compare objects to unique animations, because most objects like the bandit scaffolding is designed to be used more than once, so it is given a more general name. while the unique buildings, animations and items are given very specific names because they are only designed to be used once. Snow elf prince burning ascension is most likely unique.

Just because its unique doesn't mean it isn't named differently than what its represented as in game. The naming schemes for objects in the creation kit, and not just objects but animations, screen effects, etc. are all named to be easily filtered. Its likely named SnowPrince so it is easily filtered out from all the other content going into the DLC. Its unique enough that when you type it into a filter you get exactly what you need without fluff. It doesn't matter if its an animation or not, its the same scheme for everything in the creation kit.

Its like this:

They probably wanted a quick way to filter all the content relating specifically to the snow elf quests. I'm willing to bet the quest itself is labeled along the lines of "DGSnowPrince" or some such. To quickly design the quest, everything is named with a similar scheme. You go to the filter, type SnowPrince and you get only objects with that exact name, without any fluff.

There are markers in the CK named "MQ101XMarker", there are animations named "TGNocturnalIdleAnimation" and on and on. Its just for the sake of filtering, it has nothing to do with what the item in the game world represents
