My Review of Dragonborn DLC

Post » Thu Dec 06, 2012 8:17 am

I give this a 9.0/10
 Things I like:
  • Solstheim
  • Cool armor, spells, and shouts
  • Fort Frostmoth
  • New Enemies
  • Werebears
  • New Quest and "New" areas to explore
  • Apocrypha
  • Morrowind Music(Sort of)
  • References and a LOT to TES III:Morrowind
  • Storyline twist
:swear: Things I HATE:
  • DRAGON RIDING( HELLO THIS WAS THE ONE THING WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO)
  • very litte Nerevarine mentions by the people on the Island
  • not much challenge with new enemies( They fight like the ones in SKYRIM i was hoping for a different kind of tactics and fighting skills)
  • debatable Ending
  • ONE PLAYER HOUSE? (seriously)
  • No "Join House of (insert name) quests?" i thought that would've been cool
  • TOO MUCH FAST TRAVEL PERKS( we go horses, we got carriages, we can use the map, AND NOW DRAGONS!)
  • Dragonborn boss fight not epic( if you play it on a different difficultly level IT COULD be fun or not)
  • Spears (name is stretched if you are lucky you can USE a spear but most like it will be an arrow I'm afraid)

The Ballista centurions are incredibly hard.

There's also whispers of a warrior... one of uncanny strength, as if conjured from the Ebony floes of Dagoth Ur itself... But it's likely just a rumor.

Actually you can join the Telvanni House, you just need to do that wizard's quests.

no the issue with that one was that it was broad and we wouldn't know that we join that particular house until we completed the quest if the mission promoted that saying "Once you complete the quest for the Wizard you are able to join the Telvanni house"

I always play on Master.

The first time I found one, I didn't even know I was in a fight until I was impaled across the room. They look so vastly different than what we're used to, yet I'll never forget them now. If you're just running through a dungeon, you may mistake it for a boiler at first.

Neloth mentions the Nerevarine. Also, dragon riding isn't too bad. It's not very intuitive.. but I think the option they have us was cool. I look forward to defeating hordes of stormcloaks on the back of a dragon.
