Call of Duty,I stopped playing them when unlocking guns, killstreaks and other BS entered the fray in multiplayer. That sort of stuff put me right off the series all together.

Played All of them up to world at war, when i got MW2 i realised how boring the series has got and forgot about it after the first 2 missions. "evil russian guy" is really cliche
But that's not disliking something you've never played...

JRPG's. Not bananas over Japanese culture, and the genre has never appealed to me.

However, you have experience in CoD and gave it up for a reason.

I however, as per my example, have never picked up 50 Cent however I dislike it based on what I hear and the community/image it comes with.

I don't play certain types of games because they don't interest me. I wouldn't say I dislike them but I would dislike having to play them.

I don't like stealth games. so i know i wont like mgs or splinter cell... Edit: I don't mean dislike as in bashing people that play those games, just that I won't play them.

Same here, generally i dislike the way the mechanics are done for the stealth, for a current example of a stealth mode was farcry 3, you crouched, no crawl option across and open area after throwing a few stones to distract the guards who repeat over and over, who's there, where are you, and then stab them, and one was the old Operation Flashpoint, you crawled through undergrowth in a forest but the enemy were always attracted to you, and one part where you crawled out of the forest halfway to the other forest across in cover a BMP is suddenly alerted to your presence how i dont know and either sits next to you and moves as you do, or runs over you, or shoots you even though theres no possible way it could see you.

In Arma another mission same result the enemy even though your in cover home straight in on you in vehicles, plus the games that leave you with the puzzle over gee how do i get to the upper story window to quietly get into the building, and spend most of the game sneaking about looking for bits to climb boxes to jump onto, so generally i pretty much know how most games run, so its not difficult to make a decision on whether i want to purchase a game.
