I bet it's the next TES game, Hammerfell it's too big a province to waste it in a Skyrim (??) dlc.

If there next DLC is even bigger than Dragonborn, I'll be happy.
Even if it is JUST as big as Dragonborn.

Either way, I voted for the Orsinium download. So this would be the same, but even bigger! I'd be a happy MFer if they this is true.

Just because it's called Redguard doesn't have to be Hammerfell... could be the adventures of a bunch of Redguards in Skyrim. But yeah, I think an Orc based story would have been my choice.

So it will be called Redguard and feature a city called Dragonstar? Redguard, Dragonborn, Dawnguard, Dawnstar, Dragonstar. It's getting a little confusing.

"The Redguard Dragonborn, who was a member of the Dawnguard, travelled from Dawnstar to Dragonstar." - Try saying that 10 times out loud without getting some of them mixed up.

Also, who is saying they would use the whole of Hammerfell? They could just use a section along the side of the great desert and just make the desert uncross-able terrain. That would keep the size down to DLC level.

Perhaps, or perhaps it's been a DLC that has been in the makings ever since Dawnguard was planned. I mean, if it were Redguard and we went to Hammerfell, we're talking completely new terrain here, buildings, weapons, etc... Dawnguard probably was released first because it was the easiest to create, Dragonborn secondly since it had

... Hammerfell has very, VERY little in common w/ Skyrim.

Could be large than Shivering Isles with even more varied and alien terrain and that still wouldn't make sense for it too take that long. Plus it just doesn't make sense to trademark the last DLC title so early before the others.

True, but the more they get right the more people who will believe them next time even if they're making something up.

I didn't really give the sight a good looking over but I do remember when someone posted all about Dragonborn it came with exactly how it was discovered in the coding. Does this one detail where the new DLC info is and how it was found? The first time we're not skeptical is the first time they'll be lying to us about stuff.

There hasn't been a patch since Dragonborn's release. So there's nothing to datamine. Yet.

I honestly think you're all getting excited for nothing. Well, some of you, at least.

The 'Redguard' name has been trademarked even before the publishing of Skyrim, in contrast to other DLC names which were trademarked a few months prior to their release. Maybe Bethesda is pulling a FO:NV on us with Skyrim, too... Who knows? The lack of more recent trademarks for new DLC or products, however, is a bit worrying.

Yes, but Skyrim was in production for years before it's release. Maybe during production they came up with, and maybe even started creating, a Hammerfell based DLC. They thought it was a great idea and decided to trademark it then and there, and it only made sense to them to release it at this later point, after the other DLCs.

Well in that case we're free to go ahead and speculate that if it's called Redguard it's probably all about the origins of why that race is called Redguards instead of black guys. I'm sure they could make all sorts of great things to do out of that.

Redguards aren't black guys.

I don't think this is a new DLC, If they are going to include Redguards then it has to be in Hammerfell or at least feature some of it and i think Hammerfell is pretty big and full with lore that wont fit in a 800MiB DLC.
Plus i was hoping Hammerfell would be the next setting for TES VI. it would fit perfectly with the Thalmor war if you think about it.

Of particular note is the city of Dragonstar in Hammerfell which, according to Elder Scrolls lore, has been a site of conflict between the nations of Skyrim and Hammerfell.

So far Skyrim DLC has been a compound word that starts with D. Dragonstar might be the next expansion?
