Seen so many talk about the quest log of Skyrim so I bought the morrowind during chrismas sales ($5). So far it is quite fun, while the interaction is a bit clumsy compare to lot of modern game, but the quest really give a really detailed information. such as "Go right up the stairs from the front door, then left at the top of the stairs and down to the end of the street." and the "don't go out the door from top floor to terrace" quite surprised how much fun it give. the road sign for traveling also give a really good guidance too.
but also give me wonder can future Elder scroll give such fine details in game. Not only it have to put down very details direction in written form, also need to do extra and longer voice acting on the dialogue. Also with Skyrim scale i think it is much harder to find balance for the number of content to number of details.
lately I am wonder is the modern game voice acting and animation are killing the current game industry. While it improve game experience greatly, it also caused a much bigger time required in development.
