Since when did Steam achievements matter?

I'd really love to see Dragonborn soon, as I have been running out of things to do in my main Skyrim save, and been waiting patiently for Dragonborn since announcement. If we have to wait till February won't be a huge deal, but I set aside from money from the steam sale hoping we'd see it within the first two weeks of January. Heres to hoping.
