Character LVL Skill LVL ?

Post » Fri Jan 18, 2013 2:09 am

Okay so right now I am about LVL 10 making a warrior sword and board character. I was wanting to make sure I didn't become under or over powered and keep the game a challenge. I was wanting to know if there is a chart or if someone here might know what my numbers should look like when I hit LVL 20, 30, 40 and so on.

My skills are:
One handed
Block
Light armor
Smithing

Any other skills I use aren't used very often so I didn't add them in.

Smithing is the only troublesome skill, but if you use it by itself (no alchemy or enchanting loop), then it shouldn't make you overpowered. Just remember not to grind it, I found it's best to keep it equal to your main weapon skill - that way you won't run around with legendary daedric weapons at level 20.

The rest will level up naturally as you fight enemies during quests or exploration. You don't need to worry about them making you too powerful unless you're one of those people who like to spend hours sparring with horkers instead of actually playing the game

Smithing I like having up to 60 by the time I am about 15. It seems to be the point where I am finding weapons with decent enchantments and I can smith them with the perk.
I notice I can get my block and 1 hand high but I always have to boost my armor here and there when I start to notice I am taking too much damage. But not for hours at a time haha.
