Feeding should be reversed.
Depends on your lore. TES vampires appear to function, in some ways anyway, in much the same manner that several of the bloodlines in Vampire: The Masquerade function. The consumption of blood is the only thing that keeps them from becoming the monsters that they really are in that universe. If they go without it, their powers increase but their minds become reduced to that of mere animals, in addition to a more grotesque appearance. Some of these bloodlines actively sacrifice their sanity and humanity for power by going without feeding for very long periods of time.
The problem with The Elder Scrolls is it seems like it tries to play both sides of the field. On the one hand, we get this type of lore that is already prevalent in another universe of vampire lore. On the other, it is mentioned that going without blood can cause vampires to become comatose, which seems more in line with the traditional lore. This makes the relationship with blood rather confusing in TES, at least in my eyes anyway.
