Did anyone else run up and start smacking Miraak in the midd

I waited. Villianing is an art and should be appreciated.

I did the same, I found it funny that it let me become undetected while he was talking to me but it did speed up the 1st round

Harkon went down in one shot, a stealthy power attack from the blade of Woe = 30 (blade damage) * 15 (fully perked stealth) * 2 (gloves) * 2 (power attack) = 1800 damage :nuke: .

With Miraak I just calmed him every time he recovered (fully perked illusion + vampire + dual-cast) and used stealth power attacks so I only needed 3 attacks and took no harm.

You guys have no appreciation for story. 1HKing the bad guy before he can finish his monologue, for shame.

Hey, he had plenty of time to Monologue when you were helpless and it was time to repay him for the [censored] move he pulled when you first read the black book

Miraak was a lame villain, not worthy of getting a final monologue. But, I sat through it anyway. I figured since it was like, the 3rd or so time the guy even gets to talk in the story, might as well hear him out before I smear him into a hazy memory.

The most horrifically villainous thing I can recall Miraak doing across the entirety of the DB story arc, was stealing a dragon soul I should've got from a fresh dragon kill. KAAAAAAAAHN!!!!

I tried to one-hit-kill him but he froze up at his healing pool. I didn't realize that there was a series of motions and drama that he had to go through... I ended up slowly beating the crap out of him with an ancient nord greatsword after a game reload.

Ha! Next time I may use the Fisticuffs perk to pound him into submission.

btw, I am working on your location.... is it a Village Inn? Or some other sort of Pie House?
