Auto save not working correctly

Post » Thu Mar 21, 2013 1:38 am

My auto save is turned on to save every 15 minutes or so, but 15 minutes goes by and nothing happens. I tried to disable auto save to see if that would fix it, but it is still not saving. Is there anyway to fix this?

That Autosave only works if you bring up the menu. Not even sure if you bring the menu up and it saves, or you have to bring the menu up every 15 minutes or whatever time you set it to.

It is really best to not have the Autosaves on, or only on one of the three other choices. You can Autosave yourself into a situation you don't want to be in, and they can corrupt over time. Better to use a series of manual save slots, like 10 of them. Use one slot for 30 minutes to an hour, then move to the next slot. Cycle back after the 10th slot. This way you can go back to replay a quest if it glitches or you want to approach it differently

Ok thatt makes sense. Just curious, do you think it has something to do with the fact the last time it auto saved i was in the Thalmor Embassy building, after the Diplomatic Immunity quest already happened?

If you have all saves on, after any quest normally the game would do a save. But do manual saves and save often, because the automatic saves are not working probably enough and they can corrupt some times.
(oh !!! and make some backups from your save files, for any case...) :tops:
