You can complain a lot about the graphics (texture popup and stuff) and lag. But characters hoovering meters in the air? I've never seen that happen...

Alright, I think I'll start at the beginning. Brink is not another Cod clone. while you make the controls similar to that yearly rip-off, Brink is an Objective, class, and teamwork focused shooter that utilizes Parkour to move throughout the map faster. Lone-wolfing will get you killed alot, and for 99% of people that have been playing crappy cod clone arcade shooters, that will make them furious that you just can't kill everything and not do the objectives.

However, the game is designed in such a way where you can play it in any style that you want. The Character Customization and armory system is very immense and deep. The body sizes are focused on helping make you feel more familiar with your old game, whilst easing you into this one. You can have more than one character, and more than one Build of classes, so really, there is no limit to how the game can be played. Personally, I play as medium Engineer because I come from Halo and Battlefield, and like to defend the objectives rather than go on massacres. Others might like the Operative because they like to infiltrate the enemy lines and sabotage them. Or you might like the Soldier, whose grenades and Ammo resupplies keep the pressure on. Then there's the medic, who you never want to become the enemy of for obvious reasons.

Map design is really well done. there is really no other way to describe it. there's flow and chokepoints that really make you feel as if you're in a war. Although I prefer the DLC maps for the extra Parkour in them, Al the maps do a really fantastic job of keeping you on your feet and looking for new paths.

I really hope that you end up getting Brink, as you'll be making a mistake by not getting it.

I beat this game in a week( Including multiplayer). I'd say it's pretty bad.

One can do the same in Call of duty and say it bad (which it is). However, your statement does not provide a reason to support your opinion other than the length of the game, which is not really a factor due to the immense replayability of Brink.

P.S. #Winning Signature by the way.
