The Traveler's Tavern VIII

How funny! I was actually thinking about pulling this back up. :)

As for summer plans: My bf and I are thinking about renting an RV and just meadering around the US for a couple of weeks. There's a few places we want to hit, but for the most part we'll just go where we go.

No summer plans as of now. Likely just hanging out here with friends but possible going on a road trip to visit some of them that are too cool to come down here.

I remember various trips to France in my youth and big, gallon-sized plastic containers of really awful, rough red wine... we never learned!

Fools! I got some really nice red there that was like 2 euros a bottle.

I don't remember much of the night though...

Travelling to Southern France in July with my family. Might visit Monaco while I'm there.

Might visit Prague this summer. It's a beautiful place, and I'm also curious about the famous Czech beer.

Aw, I wish there was something like that around here. There aren't enough (any?) gaming events/places here, AFAIK.

Probably just a hiking trip into the nearby woods. That's as much travel as I get. I might go somewhere though.

It is a really cool place. I was thinking about nominating Foonzo for a natnal heritage/hestric site designation. I think it would be a great idea. I just need to talk to the owners first. What do you guys think about this? Nominating a game cafe for a natnal heritage/hestric site designation?

I think some of the guy who go there to play are in http://www.twitch.tv/torontotoptiers?utm_campaign=live_embed_click&utm_source=www.eventhubs.com for a tournament/exhibition. Toronto has a place called http://www.acgamesonline.com/home/, its a video game shop that people meet at weekly to play video games. Toronto also has a place called http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/138926/tosfhq-gtas-competitive-fighting-training-grounds. I heard about HQ by word of mouth, just saw that page for the first time just now when I googled a link to post. (Why is googled underlined red, that is odd).

If you live in a city with about a 1mil+ population there is probably something like it. I definitely have to go to LA, NYC, Las Vegas, Korea and Japan. Check out what they have.

Since this is all about international stuff, I'll just throw in that I love Mexican food. REAL Mexican food. Greasy, savory, delicious Mexican food. I have a Mexican girlfriend and she has shown me a lot about their culture.

I've always wanted to try. Real Mexican food, that is. Actually, I wanna try all the traditional dishes from different cultures. Do you know any good Mexican dishes?
