Is anyone else worried that Adventure Zones are going to be an afterthought in ESO? Adventure Zones are the large scale PvE (or Raids) of ESO (although ZOS doesn’t like the word Raids). In any case, I cant help but feel that AZs sound more and more like an afterthought. In the latest interview Paul Sage said:
“For large group PvE we have what we call Adventure Zones, and we haven’t really revealed a lot of details on Adventure Zones yet, but we definitely want to make sure that there is something there for those larger groups to do.”
We want to make sure is something there for those larger groups to do? Really? That does not sound like a serious and comprehensive feature at all.
I am sure some people will say that I am over-anolyzing what Sage said, but I think their overall attitude towards AZs and how they discuss and look at them, says a lot about what we should expect. I don’t think I ever have heard any developer talk about a major feature as “we just want to make sure there is something there”.
Anyways, I am personally worried. What about you?
