Xbox will have its own. PS4 will have its own. And PC/Mac will share.
Im getting an Xbox One myself but refuse to play an MMO on anything without a keyboard and mouse.
Well from the reaction im seeing from console gamers, I don't think the separate server will be a big issue population wise. I have a feeling plenty of console gamers will at least try it out. But if you have friends playing the PC version then yeah, sticking to PC (or console if thats where your friends or at) would probably be the best move.
And I agree with you, playing on a big screen would be pretty cool. I didn't even really consider that. Plus the fact that there wont be a huge need for macro's really considering EOS went with less usable skills at one time (a move I really like for various reasons.)
Yeah I know what you mean. I played WoW for a few months and SWTOR for a few months as well and the fact that you have so many spells and stuff took away from it imo. It cluttered the screen but the sad part was, you didn't need a screen really. I was always looking at my skills and just pressing buttons in order and at certain times. Give me less abilities and more immersive combat any day.
But yeah, with the way they are doing the mega server thing, I don't think their will be an issue with population on any platform. Shouldn't be stuck in empty servers ever.
Not trying to be an ass but why not plug your PC into the big screen then. It is pretty easy these days if you have a modern enough PC.
PC version will have better graphics to be honest. Quicker response times due to the keyboard and mouse as well. The HD TV's are no where near as good for resolutions as a half decent monitor I can even tell the difference between my pc monitor and when I connect the PC to my Sony HD 40 inch screen. On the TV the graphics look blotchy and seem to move slow due to a very poor response time. On my monitor they are a lot better because its designed for computers.
