Who threatens to kick someone's ass for asking why you're consistently doing something really weird in public? How is that ever a dumb question?
Uh, I dunno. I guess I'll search what people have pointed out as strange, though even then, it's just been family, and family is always out to poke fun at your habits.
I eat food in layers and love foods that allow me to do this. That means that I'll eat half of my sandwich normally, then take apart the other half and put it into an eating order (usually bread [back when I had normal wheat bread] first then cheese, avocado, or meat last). I'll usually pick all of the lettuce out of my salad first, eat it, then move onto the other bits. If I'm having sushi, I'll unfurl half of the rolls and make a sushi salad where I'll pick out the rice, eat it, and pick out the other bits in order. My younger sister also does this so I guess it's relatively normal.
Two of my older sisters always poked fun at me for covering my mouth when I sleep with either the blanket or my hand. For some reason I don't like my mouth being exposed as I sleep (possibly because it tends to hang open or purse). My sisters will jokingly shout, "Why are you suffocating yourself!?"
And yeah. I wouldn't really say they're odd as I know other people who do them and it makes sense to do them (I love savoring food so eating in layers directly facilitates that; I've been photographed while sleeping and it's not pretty, so I like to prevent that and I like to feel cozy while I sleep).
People who are insecure about that something.
I cut down or out most of my bad habits, but weird good/arbitrary habits... I don't have any that I can think of. Perhaps my gaming habits are a bit strange. I only play multiplayer games Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 9pm, and singleplayer games from 5pm onward throughout the week. This was put in place (originally with MP only being Saturday/Sunday) to stop me from spending all my time playing video games, and it's certainly worked -- along with integrating plenty of other distractions into my life.
I used to walk on my toes sometimes as a kid and say I was a dinosaur. My sister would say I looked like a ballerina when I did it. I also had a weird habit with picking or even biting at the biggest knuckle on each of my hands before, because it seemed like something wasn't getting off the skin and also from extreme boredom. I think the texture of the skin on my knuckles may have changed a little from that. I can't think of other things right now. I try not to have them.
