Yes, I know taunting isn't the right word, but I felt as such when playing Skyrim.
Seriously, let's take the Civil War from Skyrim. Two factions, one for unity, the other for independance. Want to know why it's taunting me? Simple: I live in the only French-speaking province of Canada, who wants to split up from the country. But the problem is: I feel like the reason why my province didn't ended up like Greece, or worse, Detroit, is excatly the other, English-speaking provinces. Yeah, I know my province isn't in civil war and all, but still...
Anyway, did any game felt like twisting the knife by applying a situation which reminds you of something else that you're living?
P.S.: If this topic derails, I'll go get a mod and it will be over soon.
