Elderscrolls Online will be a great hit and an exciting game for many many people. mmo fans from around the world will be flocking in large groups just to see what its all about .. many of them will be coming from WoW. it will be such a wonderfull time for all.
but the thing is ... how long before its boring to them and another new mmo takes center stage (3 months? 2 months?) or they go back to the other mmo's they came from? and how long will the excitement last?
I know for a fact a very large group of elderscrolls fans are still playing morrowind (myself included), and this large group of people are going to be the main core of the people who will be staying with ESO until it dies out.
We will be the ones who will be paying the monthly fees for subscription, and buying the items in the cash shop, and the ones who keep elderscrolls alive. so my question is simple ....
once the excitement dies out what will the game actually be for us? once that hype has gone and its just us true elderscrolls fans .. and reality sets in, and we take a serious look at the world of ESO, will we be left with what was made for them? or will it be the world of elderscrolls that we grew up with and expected to see?
may your feet touch warm sands my friend, and may you find all that you seek.
